1. Discounts and Special Offers:

Permits for sales and special offers are issued through the Festival Office in the Tourism Department.
Requirements include a permit application/request form, detailed price detection, selling price on regular days, selling price after sale, discount percentage, and some original purchase invoices.
Sales start from 25% to 90%.
Precautionary measures must be mentioned, such as temperature measurement devices, sterilizers, mask-wearing, physical distancing, and adherence to the permitted number according to the area of the store.

2. Clearance Sales:

Clearance sales permits can be issued only if the licence is valid.
Similar requirements as for discounts and special offers apply.

3. Promotional Campaigns:

Permits for promotional campaigns, including instant prizes, raffles, promotional offers, scratch and win, and vouchers, are issued through the Festival Office.
Temporary booths/counters, free tasting/samples promotional campaigns, and other related activities are also covered under promotional permits.

Here are the details regarding operational permits for additional working hours, additional activities, and kiosks in Dubai:

1. Additional Working Hours Permit:

Businesses can apply for permits to operate beyond the official closing hour of 12 AM.
Permits for extra hours can be issued for tourism areas up to 4 AM, main roads up to 3 AM, and internal streets up to 2 AM.
Industrial activities may be permitted to operate 24 hours.
Fees vary based on the hours requested, such as AED 3,000 for round-the-clock operations and AED 2,000 for operations until 2 AM.

2. Kiosk Permit:

This permit allows selling goods and products inside commercial centres, government institutions, and other locations.
Requirements include an explanatory letter, no objection from the leasing party, and a lease contract if the permit is permanent.
Fees for kiosk permits are AED 1,000 for one month, AED 2,500 for six months and AED 5,000 for one year.

3. Counter Permit:

This permit is for displaying products or providing services at counters.
Similar requirements to kiosk permits, including an explanatory letter and lease contract.
Fees are AED 500 for one month, AED 750 for six months, and AED 1,500 for one year.
